Whole30 Day 1 & 2
Here is a round-up on how I did for the first 2 days of Whole30.
Day 1:
Breakfast: Homemade Pork Sausage and Sweet Potato Hash
Lunch: Tuna Salad in a Jar (homemade mustard vinaigrette, lettuce, tuna) unpictured tuna, Grapes
Dinner: Baked Chicken, Carrots and Asparagus
What I drank: Mint Green Tea, Chamomile Tea and Water
How I felt: I was hungry between lunch and dinner and decided that I could probably use an afternoon snack. My colon also was not too happy and I spend a big chunk of time in the bathroom throughout the day, especially after work.
Day 2:
Breakfast: Homemade Pork Sausage and Sweet Potato Hash (Same as Day 1)
Lunch: Tuna Salad in a Jar (homemade mustard vinaigrette, lettuce, tuna, avocado), Grapes (Same as Day 1)
Afternoon Snack: Half an Apple with Almond Butter, unpictured
Dinner: Sauteed Shrimp with Garlic and Lemon, Cauliflower Rice and Steamed Broccoli
What I drank: Mint Green Tea, Chamomile Tea, Water and Kombucha
How I felt: I got a headache in the afternoon, but took some Tylenol after it wouldn’t go away and it finally did.
Exercise: Went on a 3 mile run
*Note about Mark. He ran a farther and faster run than me last night and was completely exhausted. He went to bed at 10pm and it was difficult for him to wake up at 8am. So he is having a bit more withdrawals than me.
