Easy Chicky Chicky Parm Parm

This weekend we went shopping at Trader Joe’s for our groceries. Every time we shop there we also stop by the free coffee and check out whatever food samples that they are doing for the day. On Saturday their samples used the gluten free chicken nuggets. They had made little chicken parmesans by adding marinara and parmesan cheese to the chicken nugget. It was a genius idea and I decided to take it and add my own little spin. By buying GF pasta and fresh mozzarella cheese here is my take on a simple Chicken Parmesan meal.


– GF Pasta

– Fresh Mozzarella Cheese

– GF Chicken nuggets

– Parmesan Cheese

– Store bought Marinara Sauce


Preheat oven to 425 F. While the oven is preheating, boil your pasta water. Cook chicken nuggets for 10 minutes then flip. Cook for an additional five. While the chicken nuggets are cooking and the pasta water is heating up, slice your mozzarella cheese and warm up your marinara sauce. Cook pasta. When the chicken nuggets have cooked for 15 minutes total, add the mozzarella to the top of each nugget and let cook for an additional 5 minutes to melt the cheese. Once everything is cooked, combine the pasta, top with the cheese topped chicken nuggets, add marinara sauce and finally end with Parmesan cheese. This took 20 minutes to cook and was extremely filling. Will definitely eat again.
