Skagit Valley Tulips

This weekend we went to go check out the Skagit Valley Tulips. We were hoping to go to the festival with my parents in a few weeks, but due to the unseasonably warm winter, the flowers decided to come early this year. We got to the RoozenGaarde Farm right when they opened for the day. It cost $5/person to get in and this gives you unlimited access to their manicured gardens, tulips and daffodil fields. The day started off cold and windy, but the sun did decide to come out right before we left the fields and we were able to get some nice photos. With all the rain we have been getting over the past week, the fields were very muddy but we were good with our wellies and waterproof hiking shoes on. Definitely will be coming back here in the future and would make for a great place to take family photos. The best tip we received was getting there early as the crowds were crazy by the time we left around 11am. Here are a few of our photos.
